Emergency Medical Tech I

Location: Fort Scott Kansas

Description: Mercy is employing Emergency Medical Tech I right now, this position will be placed in Kansas. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Performs direct patient care, including Assessment, Evaluation, and Implementation of Basic Life Support, and IV access. Performs clerical, dispatch, and maintenance duties, acts as preceptor to EMT st! udents, assists in the Emergency Department,and floats throughout the house to assist where needed, as not to delay response time. Works under the supervision of physicians, and registered nurses.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited training facility.
Experience: Experienced in driving emergency vehicles. Holds and maintains a current driver?s license, and is at least 18 years of age.
Licensure: Holds and maintains a valid Kansas EMT-I License/ certification, including completion of continuing education requirements.
Certifications: CPR required.
