For complete informations about this career opportunity please read the description below. Sodexo is currently seeking a Patient services manager 1 for the Wesley Medical Center in KS . This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about wellness and nutrition and who is looking to! bring a high level of expertise and leadership ability in a healthcare foodservice environment. The Patient Services Manager will help plan and implement our “Expressly for You” patient meal delivery and will work closely with the Clinical Nutrition team which includes diet review, menu development, and day to day issues or needs.

The ideal candidate has experience working directly with patients and has a strong knowledge of nutrition in a healthcare environment. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated ability in team leadership and managing change to support the anticipated change in patient meals

The Patient Service manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the patient care unit, active role in finance, cost control and patient meal service, responsible for the supervision of patient hospitality employees, and provide high level of customer service. The Patient Services Manager will be responsible for the overall operati! on of the patient tray line to include tray assessments, quali! ty assurance, gold checks, meal rounds, scheduling and training and development of 40 employees. The ideal candidate has previous experience in healthcare food service as well as knowledge and understanding of managing patient meal service. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in managing a unit, training and developing a frontline staff and strong client relations.

Position Summary:
Provides direction, guidance, and supervision/directi! on of patient hospitality employees at patient care units. Manages initiatives for job redesign and process improvement, including interdepartmental improvements with nursing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
