Director of Nursing RN I Labor & Delivery FT Days

Location: Overland Park Kansas

Description: Overland Park Regional Medical Center is at present recruited Director of Nursing RN I Labor & Delivery FT Days right now, this position will be placed in Kansas. For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability. Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.Education:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Licensure/Certifications:Current Kansas RN licensure required. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.

Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification is required. Experience:Two years clinical nursing experience required, prefer experience in area of specialty that will be managing. One year supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.An Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/H/V).
