Performs delegated activities; including activities of daily living and basic nursing care procedures for those we serve. Performs duties and presents oneself in a manner that wo! uld lead to high levels of satisfaction. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Provides nursing care and support with Activities of Daily Living as assigned in a safe manner, consistent with the policies and procedures of the ministry.
Documents tasks completed per ministry policy.
Contributes to resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating services provided and changes in the resident's condition or family interactions in a timely manner.
Complies with ministry’s infection control policies and procedures.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Management Responsibilities:
This position has no management responsibilities.
