The Registered Staff N urse is a professional registered nurse who works in collaboration with the physician to provide quality care that is focused on the well-being of the patient and family.
This position requires a customer service oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering efficient care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision making is expected in the execution of all duties. May be assigned to assume leadership responsibilities, therefore be able to delegate patient care and duties based on the ability of co-workers. Must strive to maintain the professional standards of nursing which include utilizing the theoretical framework of the nursing process and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage and evaluate patient care. Experience in Endocrinology is a plus, but not required.
