We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nursesfor Weekend Days (Friday - Sunday)12 hour shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION of the Registered Nurse / RN:

• Provide direct nursing care as necessary: Temperature checks, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, treat wounds, administer medications, apply dressings, insert catheters, etc.
• Make rounds with attending physicians.
• Observe residents.
• Help in evaluation of residents’ needs.
• Develop care pl ans.
• Supervise the care provided by nurse aides.
• Understand and follow all current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities.
• Complete medical forms, reports evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary, including doing so primarily using a computer.
• Responsible for the clinical needs of 28 residents.

QUALIFICATIONS of the Registered Nurse / RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.
• Must be computer literate.
• Point Click Care experience a plus.
