Acutely ill cardiovascular patients and those who require continuous monitoring and specialized interventions receive expert care on this unit. These nurses provide advanced and specialized care to patients who typically have acute myocardial infarction and congestive heart failure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Kansas Registered Nurse license or eligible.
- 2 or more years of nursing experience.
- Must have an American Heart Association basic life support (BLS) or an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- Other certification! s may be required depending on nursing unit.
