Position Description:
The license practical nurse utilized the nursing process to coordinate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and team members; and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. He/she practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specia! lty standards, and organizational/departmental policies and pr! ocedures.

Position Requirements:Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing

Experience:
1-3 years previous healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills:
Organizational, Verbal Communication, and Lab Competency Testing skills (if applicable) required

License, Registration and/or Certification:
Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensure in the state of Kansas required
Healthcare Provider CPR certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
