Cardiac Cath Technician - Full-Time Days

Location: Overland Park Kansas

Description: Overland Park Regional Medical Center is at present recruited Cardiac Cath Technician - Full-Time Days right now, this position will be placed in Kansas. Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Preceptor, the Cath Lab Technician in cooperation with the physicians and nursing personn! el, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmia recognition.

Complies with principles of sterile technique.

Collects and assembles data for database, outcome analysis and performance improvement.

Responds within 30 minutes when on stand by and able to assist at other system Cath Labs as needed.

Qualifications

Education:
High school graduate or GED required

.

Licensure/

Certifications:
Current BCLS Certification required.

ACLS Certification preferred.

ARRT or CCVT registration or registry

eligible required.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy & physiology.

Able to complete at six months a

hemodynamic test and arrhythm! ia recognition test.

Computer data entry.

Experience:

ne-year experience in a clinical setting required.
