We currently have an opening for a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Provides effective leadership to the unit/team. Able to strategically identify, internalize and communicate the critical success factors necessary for the unit/team.
• Serves as a resource and technical expert to Respiratory Therapy staff, physicians, and other health care personnel.
• Receives report from the previous shift's supervisor (or acting), and assigns work to clinical personnel.
• Completes rounds at least twice per shift to ensure adequate staffing in each area, solve patient care problems, and assure the delivery of quality respirator! y care.
• Serves as the primary source person in the re! porting and resolution of patient care incidents.
• Performs direct patient care on a daily basis in the Emergency Department, inpatient areas, and outpatient areas.
• Fulfills call duties as assigned.
• Assists in the Performance Improvement Program and participates in interdepartmental and intradepartmental quality focus teams.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in respiratory care or a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience in critical respiratory care required .
RCP and RRT Registered in the State of Kansas, ACLS required
Bachelor's Degree and previous supervisor experience preferred.
