Nursing Education Content Specialist

We are seeking two experienced nurse educators to join our content development team to help support content creation for Ascend's ATI Nursing Education business unit (www.atitesting.com).
This position will be location at Ascend's Leawood (Kansas City), Kansas headquarters but for exceptionally qualified candidates a remote work location may be acceptable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Manage development of assigned products;
assist with training and the management of outside contractors;
assist with development and beta testing of nursing support and remedial products;
assist with ongoing revision of nursing support and remedial products;
respond to client inquiries.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Establish timeline for product development;
provide clear guidelines to peers and consultants regarding product development;
foster team work;
experience with Microsoft Office;
knowledge of current nursing practices and the nurse education system;
experience with item writing;
adhere to guidelines in product development and meet established deadlines;
produce professional orginal writing;
conduct extensive beta testing and quality as! surance checks on products prior to release;
investigate and respond to client inquiries.
REQUIRED CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in nursing is required;
experience using ATI nursing products is strongly preferred;
item writing and analysis skills;
proofreading skills;
three years clinical experience;
five years experience as a faculty in a practical, associate, diploma or baccalaureate program.
