Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Army is looking for a qualified and committed Nurse Practitioner to see the troops and their families at Ft. Riley, KS. Nurse Practitioner must be a U.S citizen
Must have a current BLS thru the American Heart Association. Must have a current DEA that is fee paid and non-exempt. Must have graduate! d with nursing degree from accredited college. Must have one y! ear experience. Will be working in an out-patient setting seeing all ages from 730-430 pm on a Monday thru Friday schedule. There is no call or overtime required. This is a one year assignment starting June 1 2013 thru May 31 2014.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
