Description
The Register! ed Nurse (RN) coordinates the efforts of the multidisciplinary treatment team for the patients under his/her care. S/he is accountable for patient assessment, planning of care, intervening as patient condition changes, and evaluating the care and treatments the patient is receiving to determine if the patient is achieving the expected outcomes. She is responsible for administration of medications and treatments, reviewing test results, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality patient care. *
Qualifications
Shawnee Mission Medical Center is a 504 bed hospital located in the suburbs of Kansas City, Kansas. We are a faith based, not for profit hospital. We have been serving the area of Johnson County for almost 50 years.
Our Labor and Delivery Unit is 18 beds, we have just recently broken ground for a new unit which should open in 2 years. We deliver the most babies in Kansas City, we known for! the service we provide to new parents.
We provide a ! comprehensive benefit package, including tuition reinbursement to advance your degree, onsite child care and 403b for retirement.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced L&D nurse with at least one year of experience.
We have openings on the night shift 7p-7a for both Part-time and Full-Time
