Director of Perioperative Services

Location: Overland Park Kansas

Description: USr Healthcare is currently interviewing Director of Perioperative Services right now, this job will be placed in Kansas. Overland Park Regional Medical Center has been serving the healthcare needs of Johnson County and the surrounding counties since December of 1978. The hospital is a licensed 34! 3-bed facility offering acute medical care services to our patients. The hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians in historic Overland Park, Kansas.

Under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer, provides leadership for the provision of patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability. Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs through a pro-active approach. Develops strategies and builds relationships with physicians in order to grow surgical volumes. Works closely with LEAN manager to improve operational metrics, including but not limited to turnaround times, first case starts, on-time starts, scheduling accuracy, block time utilization, etc). Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.

Education: Bachelor of Science i! n Nursing or Business/Finance/Economics. Master of Business Ad! ministration, Nursing or Master's of Health Administration preferred.

Experience: Five plus years of healthcare management experience

Prior experience as a manager in an Operating Room or Surgery Center strongly preferred.
