Description: Apple Connections is currently seeking to employ PHARMACY MANAGER / RETAIL / EXCELLENT FAMILY FRIENDLY HOURS / CLOSED ON WEEKENDS right now, this occupation will be placed in Kansas. We are currently looking for a strong and experienced pharmacy manager to direct our daily pharmacy operations and oversight of our long term care pharmacy. Your responsibility in this role will include fiscal performance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You must maintain team morale, development and efficiency of your in-direct and direct reporting relationships within the pharmacy department.

Management duties will include the following:

• Coordinating work flow and oversight of our pharmacy processes and procedures
• Overseeing labor, pharmacy equipment and supply costs for the pharmacy
• Maintaining strict adherence to guidelines towards, oral medications, narcotics and controlled substance prescriptions
• Providing staff education and conducting performance management and hiring processes as needed
• Maintaining a clinical focus in rapidly changing environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday-Day Shift with one weekend a month rotation

Requirements:

• You must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Kansas with your Bachelors degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• You must have at least one year of management experience
• We will accept candidates from a retail pharmacy background
