Assistant Professor - Practical Nursing

Location: Overland Park! Kansas

Description: Johnson County Community College is currently interviewing Assistant Professor - Practical Nursing right now, this occupation will be placed in Kansas. For detail informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. Duties include Classroom, Laboratory and Clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing Program. Faculty responsibilities are shared with other members of the faculty team. Additional duties include student advising and counseling; and, participation in program and college committee work.

Specific Position Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
BSN degree required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or have the qualifications ! to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse required. ! Strong background in medical/surgical nursing required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing or currently working towards a Master's Degree preferred.
Background in Mental Health Nursing preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.
