Minimum Qualifications
Education: Nurse aide certification and registration with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment required. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required; must complete within employment orientation period.
Experience: May care for patients following skills assessment with documented prior experience.
Certifications: Nurse aide certification and registration with the Kansas Depar! tment of Health and Environment required. Current Basic Life S! upport through the American Heart Association is required. Co-workers must either submit a copy of a card showing current credentialing to Human Resources upon hire or must complete the training during orientation period.
Other: Participates in the implementation of the patient's plan of care, as assigned, and the evaluation of care given. Supervisor (licensed staff) is readily available and monitors work. Flexibility is required with frequent changes in work schedule. The Inpatient Unit provides acute medical and surgical, skilled nursing and obstetrical care to persons of any age. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, family members, licensed staff and physicians. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility.
