More details about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse who provides nursing care to assigned patients. S/he provides care that reflects an integration of kno! wledge, skills, experience to meet the needs of patients and families. The RN is accountable for all care provided to assigned patients during the shift, including the care delegated to nursing assistants and the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Essential to the role is the effective use of psychosocial and physical assessment in order to make decisions regarding the care required and to ensure that care is provided.
The RN is a pivotal member of the health care team and ensures that patient/family needs are communicated to others providing care. Services are provided to a wide range of clients, from infancy to advanced age.
